Everything You Need to Know
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers about AIR-Quire, federal acquisition modernization, and how to get started.
What is AIR-Quire?
AIR-Quire is an AI-powered federal acquisition platform developed by Pyramid Systems. It modernizes the entire procurement lifecycle, from requirements development through contract award and administration, replacing manual, disconnected processes with intelligent, automated workflows designed specifically for federal agencies.
What is the DoW Tradewinds Solutions Marketplace and why does it matter?
Tradewinds is the DoW Chief Digital and AI Office's (CDAO) marketplace for validated AI and digital solutions. AIR-Quire has earned Awardable status on Tradewinds, meaning it has been reviewed and approved for direct purchase by federal agencies, significantly reducing the time and effort required to procure and deploy the platform.
Which agencies can use AIR-Quire?
AIR-Quire is available to all federal agencies. It was purpose-built for the federal acquisition environment and is already being deployed at HUD through the Acquisition Management Support Services (AMSS) contract. Any agency looking to modernize its procurement process can access AIR-Quire through the DoW Tradewinds marketplace.
How long does it take to deploy AIR-Quire?
AIR-Quire is designed for rapid deployment. Because it is built on a low-code platform and pre-configured for federal acquisition workflows, agencies typically move from concept to production deployment in 12–20 weeks, significantly faster than traditional custom development. Contact us for a deployment timeline specific to your agency's environment.
Is AIR-Quire compliant with federal regulations?
Yes. AIR-Quire is built with federal compliance at its core, supporting FAR and DFAR requirements, maintaining full audit trails, and generating the documentation required for compliant acquisition decisions. Security and compliance are not afterthoughts, they are foundational to how the platform was designed.
Does AIR-Quire integrate with existing agency systems?
AIR-Quire is designed to integrate with existing federal IT ecosystems including procurement systems, financial management platforms, and document management tools. Our implementation team works with your agency to configure integrations that fit your current environment without disrupting ongoing operations.
What makes AIR-Quire different from other acquisition tools?
AIR-Quire embeds AI directly into the acquisition lifecycle rather than digitizing manual paperwork. Six configurable capabilities cover the full lifecycle: AI-guided requirements development, configurable approval and governance, pre-solicitation and solicitation, structured source selection, contract management, and reporting and insights. The measurable results from federal pilots and deployments: procurement acquisition lead time reduced by 70% or more, FAR-required acquisition packages generated in minutes instead of months, and GAO protest response timelines reduced by 50% or more, with full audit traceability preserved across the lifecycle. Pyramid Systems has been delivering federal IT systems for 30 years, including the agency's first high-value asset migration at the SEC and HUD's AWS GovCloud modernization. AIR-Quire is the product version of that experience.
What contract vehicles is AIR-Quire available on?
AIR-Quire is available for direct purchase through the DoW CDAO Tradewinds Solutions Marketplace, and through four GSA contract vehicles held by Pyramid Systems and the 1 Sync Pyramid Joint Venture: GSA OASIS+ Unrestricted (#47QRCA25DU453, PSC R499), GSA OASIS+ Small Business (#47QRCA25DSE21, PSC R499), GSA OASIS+ 8(a) (#47QRCCA25DA429, PSC R499), and GSA 8(a) STARS III (#47QTCB21D0296, PSC DA01). Contracting officers searching by PSC R499 or DA01 will find AIR-Quire among the awardable items.
What is AIR-Quire's federal traction to date?
AIR-Quire is currently being deployed and configured at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development through the HUD Acquisition Modernization Support Services (AMSS) program. Separately, AIR-Quire was successfully evaluated in Phase 1 of the U.S. Army Open Solicitation (AOC HQAMC_25-01, December 2025), where it was determined to be of technical merit, to represent a feasible schedule, and to be considered viable. Pyramid is awaiting the Army Phase 2 schedule. AIR-Quire is also designated Tradewinds Awardable by the DoD Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office (CDAO), which means federal agencies can acquire it through the Tradewinds Solutions Marketplace with reduced administrative overhead.
